My Fave – “Special Mother’s Day Edition”

My greatest privilege in life is building up my wife, which pours over to our family. From their birth all our kids, friends, employees, etc. know that Robin is my favorite person on planet earth! My responsibility is to continue to remind her of that reality. Here are some of the ways I’ve kept that cadence:

The art shown in this post was a very strategic investment that I gave her to hang in the bathroom, so every day she would be reminded of “The Bride I See”.

1.    Along with the gift of the art, I wrote a piece called “The Bride I See”. It was one of the greatest things I ever did for her to know my heart. I will not post what I wrote her. But, if anyone wants me to help you write one, let me know. It would be $150, & the best money you’ve spent! Kidding, not kidding, about writing for you. And the best money you’ll spend. 2.    The Art: Why is this piece important?

3.    The individual is reflecting. I want My Fave to reflect everyday how much I love her, believe in her, & want to help her live into her dreams.

4.    The person is dressed in confidence & has put together her best self.

5.    She is calm & sitting, meaning she knows how to plan with margin. Margin used correctly gives you time to build your confidence. My Fave just now was going to do something that was outside her comfort zone. What did she do? She went, drove around, taking time to pray & worship beforehand.  Then she parked somewhere that reminded her of the dream she’s playing for now.

6.    Her posture is perfect. How we posture ourselves for life, plays into how others will take notice, or not. The room should stop when you walk in. Not grabbing the attention because of gaudiness or eccentricity, but out of confidence & graciousness to everyone else. People are always watching how you posture yourself in the whole of the environment, not just a piece of the environment.

7.    The lady in the art is wearing black & white. Which translates to that there is no grey area about who she is & her confidence is based in the reality of truth, not self-doubt.

8.    The patterns in the art represent the truth that our patterns determine our possibilities coming to pass.

9.    She is looking out the window, which represents looking into the light, not the darkness that tries to invade us.

10.   The art is framed with a frame of details. What we allow to become the boundaries of our lives will determine what becomes the blessings in our lives.
