Twister & Success: How the Game of Twister can Teach You Success

It’s always been a blast watching people play Twister. It is much easier to be the guy with the board than to be on the mat, but in doing so, you miss a lot of the fun. Many people never see success, because they're not on the mat, or they have fallen. Here are a few little quick hits:

I’m afraid that I’ll fall and embarrass myself. So we disqualify ourselves before the game even starts.

• Everyone else looks so… - comparison kills our game and slows down our success.

• What if I twist weird and it causes pain?  Pain is part of high-level success.

• Twister is an immature child’s game. We need to stay away from superior mindsets.

The multicolored dots represent the multiple opportunities we are always facing.

To win, you have to choose the dots you're able to connect with. In success, you can never go with “God just opened the door”, because winning constantly opens more doors. So we need a discernment funnel.

To play Twister, or for success, you have to be in shape, flexible, willing to pray through the pain, and ready to jump on the board.
